“ Cowfish offers fresh and flavorful food that I really enjoyed. Everything tasted great, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. However, a big downside was the bartender also having to handle server tasks, which took away from the overall experience. It would have been nice to have a dedicated bartender for quicker service at the bar. Despite that, it was an okay experience overall, and the food definitely made up for the small hiccups. ”

“ We love shooting at Cowfish! It is one of our favorite places to shoot a wedding at. It’s a small but cozy venue, perfect for medium sized weddings. Its chic and stunning landscape offers so many beautiful backdrops for portraits. It is also located right next to the water, providing gorgeous views, especially for ceremony and reception, making your special day a little more magical. “ 05/16/2025 I stopped into Cowfish to try their happy hour when my plans for Friday afternoon fell through. I accidentally parked at Out of the Blue. But was able to walk down to Cowfish and sat at the outside bar. The views are gorgeous. Lots of seating on the patio, walkway and chairs on the grass too. The bartenders were very attentive and made me feel so very special! I ordered rum punch, margaritas, buffalo shrimp, and clam chowder. The shrimp were quite delicious. I would order it again. Definitely try Cowfish, you will be enchanted! ”

“ I recently visited Cowfish with my 9-month-old daughter, and it was such a great experience. Since there was a private party downstairs, the staff gave us the big table upstairs, which was really thoughtful and made our visit even more enjoyable. Coming here early in the season is such a vibe—calm, peaceful, and just the right pace. The staff is new, which is expected with Hampton spots as they gear up for the summer. It’s mostly young, newly hired kids who are still learning, but you can tell they’re trying their best, and honestly, that’s what matters. The effort is there, and the energy is positive. The food? Absolutely amazing. You can tell the chef knows exactly what he’s doing—there’s a level of consistency and quality that keeps this place around year after year. Whether you’re here for a full meal or just stopping by for a drink on the porch, the views are unbeatable. There’s always something to watch, or you can just sit back and relax—spring, summer, whenever. This place really is special. I debated even writing this review because I kind of want to keep it to myself. But credit where credit is due—Cowfish is fantastic. ”

“ Wow! I had such an incredible experience at Cowfish. Everybody was so nice, efficient, and thoughtful. They checked in on us regularly. The view is incredible, and the property has seating everywhere to accommodate their guests. The food is of high quality! We had the skillet cornbread, jumbo buffalo shrimp (absolutely crispy and incredible), rotisserie chicken, Cowfish burger, and ended it with an iron skillet cookie. My goodness, everything we tried was exquisite. The views were incredible, and we saw swallows flying above us, which made our experience even sweeter. I absolutely love this place and will be going back. Please book a reservation in advance, be prepared to wait, and remember the parking situation. Cheers! ”

“ I went here with my boyfriend for his 25th birthday. It was amazing, the food was incredible. The food is worth the price, 100%. Our waiter was so helpful, attentive and checked on us regularly. The atmosphere of this place is gorgeous, we had a table by the window near the water. I would recommend everyone to come here. It’s such a beautiful restaurant. 10/10 ”

“ My boyfriend took me for my birthday this past Saturday and we had the best time! The food was amazing, you have to try the buffalo shrimp app I would go back just for that! My boyfriend had the lobster roll and I had the Nola shrimp and both were delicious. Our waitress, along with the rest of the staff were super nice and accommodating. It does get a little chilly if you plan on hanging outside at the bar or the kind chairs so I’d bring a jacket, but if you forget one they have the most comfy sweatshirts for sale at a reasonable price! We will definitely be back this summer ”

I had the blackened fish sandwich and it was delicious but I started with the clam chowder and it may be the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant was beautiful as well. Very happy and looking forward to returning next time I’m passing through. ”
